Families can definitely be challenging & this one is no exception! Based on an unfinished play by Terrence McNally (author of "Kiss of the Spider Woman" & "Masterclass"), this hilarious yet poignant dark comedy explores the lives and secrets of an overbearing and aging Broadway Diva, Maddie (featuring local favorite Lucy Thrasher) who has ignored her (now adult) children while she pursues her career. Both children resent their mother's long absences & lack of concern for the tragedies in their lives. Looking back over three decades at Christmas, this heartwarming, humorous & sometimes tragic story reveals the tangled emotions of their family history.
NOTE: Features mature language and themes. Not suitable for children under age 13.
