When celebrated singer Floria Tosca and the man she loves, painter Mario Cavaradossi, are drawn into a dangerous political struggle, they find themselves at the mercy of Rome’s ruthless chief of police, Baron Scarpia. What follows is a gripping story of love, courage, and sacrifice, filled with breathtaking suspense, soaring melodies, and some of opera’s most iconic music. Featuring an entirely local principal cast, this production brings together exceptional artists from our own community for one of opera’s great theatrical experiences.
